Where is the data?

I see the Dataset tab empty, is that expected?

Hi @amanmangal . The challenge has not begun yet. We will upload all information and the problem instances by this Friday 10th of August 1700 CET.

Just adding an update, that you can find references to all the available resources in the Dataset section.

Hi @amanmangal The challenge is not about crunching a dataset, but about building a solver that can solve a model. You can find “sample data” in our github repository (https://github.com/crowdAI/train-schedule-optimisation-challenge-starter-kit) along with various additional informations and explanations.

Hi @Raphael. Not sure if I understand things properly here. If you want an AI approach, much much more data is needed.

Quote”Our goal with this challenge is to solicit ingenious ways to tackle the timetable generation/optimization problem. Do you see a suitable algorithm? A promising AI-approach? A powerful heuristic? We can’t wait to see it in action!”

Hi @Çalexàdésirer We are open to any kind of approach to the problem. It does not need to be an AI approach.

As Mohanty pointed out, you can find references to all available resources in the Dataset section.
