Range of input actions to Grader

Posted by Yongjin over 2 years ago

I just wonder how the grader responds if we give actions that are out of [0,+1].

Does it clip the values into [0,+1] ?

I also have the exact same question. Did you find out if they are being clipped or not ?

@abhinavagarwalla

Adam well documented about the issue.

In my own test, I input action out of [0,+1] but did not see any errors or exceptions.

The grader was just working as usual,

but I am not sure how the grader handles it and how it affects your score.

I generated a series of actions whose values are out of [0,+1], and performed two tests using the same set of actions.

1) Non-clipped actions

2) Clipped actions into [0,+1].

In the tests, I got ‘different’ scores.
