Quick info on how we plan to proceed after the challenge ends, so you know what to expect.
A crowdAI representative will contact you with information how you can set up a private Repository on the crowdAI Gitlab, to which you can upload your code and a short documentation (including installation and usage instructions). For those participants that qualify for awards, remember that we require that the code be released under the MIT licence in order to get the award. For all other participants, we still encourage you to make your code public, so the community can benefit. Remember also, that we can award up to five travel grants to the Applied Machine Learning Days in January. So if you give us a chance to look at your code, even if you don’t qualify for monetary awards, we may still want to invite you to the ML days and meet you in person.
We will then spend some time to review the code.
For the participants eligible for awards, we would then like to have a short Skype call with each of them. Dont’ worry, this is not an exam! It’s just that we want to give you a chance to talk about your ideas and algorithms, and also gather some feedback about the challenge itself. During the call, we would also ask participants to solve some of the instances “live”. So they should be prepared to do that.
If you have any more questions, fire away.
